The Bottle Kai Fejér designed Tkaro - the glass you take with you - for the simple reason that plastics and stainless steel were not options for her in the consumption of a glass of water and other beverages on the go.
Aware of the environmental concerns regarding single use plastic water bottles and the possible ingestion of bisphenol-A from plastics, Kai also regarded re-useable plastic bottles as tending toward the bulky, ugly orientation of camping or running bottles, while stainless steel bottles are reminiscent of the thermos of one's childhood, complete with odd smells emanating from last use! In addition, the small mouth of either bottle and the inability to actually see the contents of a stainless steel bottle are not – at least in Kai's mind – ideal characteristics of a vessel from which to consume the cleanliest of all elements, water.
Retail, custom engraving and private labeling of Tkaro is available across the globe. |

The Packaging To compliment the elegance of the product itself, the design and copy of Tkaro's packaging is kept to a minimum. The focus instead is on creating a clean, refined package with hints of luxury such as embossed logos, the foil stamped message on the front and multi-level embossed photographs on each side.
A custom die-cut window on the front of the packaging reveals the colour of the product, as well as any custom engraving that has been specified. We refrained from using a larger PVC-covered front window as the point of Tkaro is to eliminate the unnecessary use of plastics altogether. The printed front is instead used to list the products most important features and to proclaim exactly what the product is: " the glass you take with you."
The package is printed on FSC-certified paper. The inner tray, in which the product sits, is molded from 100% post consumer fibres and is 100% compostable. |
